ZUI Otago, a Subsidiary of Asseco Group, Named as Business Gazelle

IT Services Company Otago based in Gdańsk was mentioned in the prestigious group of Business Gazelles 2010. The company increased its sales revenues from PLN 6.6 million in 2007 to PLN 9.5 million in 2009, this is by 43.88 percent.

The Business Gazelle awards are presented for sustainable development as well as for impeccable reputation and fairness to contractors. In 2010 the titles of Business Gazelle were granted by Puls Biznesu (a business daily) to companies that in the years 2007-2009 continuously improved their sales revenues and concurrently did not incur any financial losses. ZUI Otago also satisfied the financial transparency criterion as the company publishes its financial statements every year and enjoys a perfect opinion from its business partners.

ZUI Otago has been engaged in the development and implementation of software for the local administration since 1991. The company’s flagship product is the OTAGO Integrated Municipal Management System. This solution has been created and developed entirely by ZUI Otago. The company applies its own well-tried methodology of production, implementation and maintenance of information systems, which satisfies the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.

The clients of ZUI OTAGO are local administration bodies that impose high requirements on their providers of IT services. Among them are the Municipal Offices in the cities of Gdańsk, Gdynia, Kraków, Łodź, Wrocław, Szczecin, Bydgoszcz, and Zabrze. The recent business successes of OTAGO include winning a tender for supply of municipal management software for the town of Łowicz (Łódź Province) worth over PLN 3.2 million as well as execution of a regional project called "Construction of Integrated Infrastructure for Information Society in Lublin County" for the amount of PLN 6.4 million (in a consortium, among others, with Asseco Business Solutions).
