Asseco's R&D activities supported by the NCRD

The National Centre for Research and Development will support Asseco in product development for the energy sector. Funding to the tune of PLN 8m will be implemented under the Smart Growth Operational Programme for the 2014 - 2020 period. Of the 137 proposals received, only the best 30 projects were selected. Asseco's project is an innovative IT solution for the energy sector, intended for foreign markets.

The project, developed by the Power and Natural Gas Department together with the Office for EU Projects, includes experimental research of a prototype system using a variety of environments and original methods and tools. Its results will be used to make business applications for electricity producers and distributors. These will be implemented and developed together with foreign companies from the Asseco Group in chosen international markets.
