Asseco the leader of the ITwiz Best100 report

Asseco ranked first in three key categories of the ITwiz Best100 report. It became the largest IT company with Polish capital selling its proprietary products and services in 2021, the largest exporter of IT products and services, and the largest provider of cloud computing services.

In 2021, Asseco reached PLN 14.5 billion in revenues, which marked an increase by 19 percent versus the previous year. This was possible thanks to a consistently implemented strategy of business diversification, as well as intensive digitization in the economy. During this period, the Group’s companies implemented complex IT projects in virtually all areas of the economy, including banking, energy, telecommunications, trade, as well as public and local government administration and health care. In 2021, Asseco established Asseco Cloud to support customers in designing, implementing and operating cloud solutions. Obtaining the title of the largest exporter was possible thanks to a consistently pursued strategy of international development. The Asseco Group is present in 60 countries around the world, on six continents. The Group comprises 327 companies, including 297 foreign entities. Since 2004 Asseco has made 120 acquisitions of companies in various parts of the world, and in the first quarter of this year three more entities joined the Group.

When we went public a dozen years ago, our goal was to build a strong position in the Central and Eastern European market, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, the Balkans, Germany - and we accomplished that. Add to that Israel and the great importance of Formula Systems not only in that market. I also think about the sector and product dimension all the time. We remain in a federation model, but I am particularly keen on integrating teams responsible for specific areas, says Adam Góral, President of the Management Board of Asseco Poland.
