Asseco the leader in software and IT services according to Bank Pekao

Asseco took the first place in the "Software and IT Services" report’s ranking prepared by Bank Pekao analysts. Asseco's leading position was gained i.a. thanks to its revenues which exceeded PLN 10 billion. The foundation of the company's operations is the sale of proprietary products and IT services which account for approx. 80% of its consolidated revenues.

As indicated by the bank's experts, the main factors for the development of the IT sector in Poland include the rapid development of digital technologies and the need to digitize and automate processes. The coronavirus pandemic has had its impact on the sector, but thanks to its role in the modern world and the need to maintain processes, it should remain relatively immune to the pandemic’s effects. In addition, the consequences of the spread of COVID-19 have accelerated the digital transformation. An opportunity for the sector is also provided by the still low saturation of IT services in Poland and the emergence of new products and services that give their recipients the opportunity to increase their innovativeness.
