Asseco Poland among companies qualified for the FTSE Russell indices

Asseco Poland is among 37 polish companies, that were qualified for the FTSE indices of Developed Markets.

Last year the leading global index provider FTSE Russell reclassified Poland from Emerging Market to Developed Market status. With the upgrade, Poland is classified as one of the 25 most advanced global economies. The decision is effective as at 25th September 2018.

FTSE Russell indices serve as a benchmark for leading global investment funds. The classification results in moving companies from FTSE indices of Emerging Markets to FTSE indices of Developed Markets.

The list of 37 Polish companies to be included in the Developed Market indices was published on 25 August 2018. According to FTSE Russell size category, Asseco Poland was included into the group of small cap companies.
