Asseco a laureate of the "Investors without Frontiers" competition

Asseco Poland was awarded in the "Investors without Frontiers" competition. The award was granted on May 14, during the first day of the European Economic Congress. The competition took into account foreign investors in Poland as well as Polish companies actively investing abroad.

Among the nominated Polish companies, the jury took into account their impact on the potential of Polish exports, the success of their activities on foreign markets and their effectiveness in creating opportunities for other Polish companies.

Poland needs foreign investments of good quality and such investments have been flowing to us, said Jerzy Kwieciński, the Minister of Investment and Development. But it is also important to point out that the expansion of Polish companies abroad has begun, and it is supported by the government, he added.

This is a great distinction for us, but we are particularly pleased with the event at which we receive this award, as we are dealing here with startups, said Artur Wiza, Vice President of Asseco Poland. Our company began its operations 25 years ago as a startup in Rzeszów, and today we are present in 54 countries. I hope that many of today's startups will follow our footsteps, he added.

It was the second edition of the competition organized by the Polish Society for Enterprise Support (PTWP). In total, the awards were granted to eight investors, including four foreign investors in Poland and four Polish investors pursuing foreign expansion strategies.
