Asseco’s Solutions in Support of Anti-Flood Protection

Alatus, an Asseco Group company, won a tender and concluded an agreement worth PLN 2.42 million (gross) with the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW).The agreement provides for supply of server hardware and services aiming at consolidation of IT infrastructure at the Polish State Hydrological and Meteorological Service (PSHM) – the database server is going to be consolidated. The delivered solution will be based on the Oracle technology. Implementation of the project will contribute to greater efficiency of the anti-flood protection processes in Poland and will enable IMGW to expand their information systems to seek further improvements in this area.

This public procurement was conducted in an open tender procedure. The tender was awarded to Alatus which signed an agreement worth PLN 2.42 million (gross) with the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management. Completion of the procurement is scheduled for the end of this year.

Alatus company is specialized in the production of specialist software and provision of IT services. In January 2011 Alatus is going to merge with Asseco Poland.
